Tracy Morgan as his full name is Tracy Jamel Morgan was born on 10th of November in 1968 in The Bronx of New York. His mother Alicia was a full-time mom; father Jimmy was an actor, musician, a Vietnam war veteran and a recovering heroin addict who abandoned his family of seven leaving five children for his wife when Tracy was six years old.
Morgan was raised in Tompkins Houses in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn and was bullied in his childhood. He went through DeWitt Clinton High School and in the academic year 1985, while in his second semester of sophomore, Tracy found out that his father had developed AIDS because of sharing hypodermic needles.
In 1987, Jimmy’s condition began to deteriorate and Tracy having just got married had to drop out of school to attend on him. Jimmy died in November of that year and Morgan resorted to selling crack to take care for his new wife and her two young kids.

He became a cast member of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in which he depicted famous personalities such as Brian Fellows and Astronaut He participated 137 episodes and seven seasons and came back as a host in March 2009 and in October 2015.
