Joseph Thomas ‘Joe’ Bonamassa was born on May 8th 1977 in New Hartford, New York. Bonamassa parents had a guitar shop. His father is Len Bonamassa and at the very tender age of four he masters the guitar.
His father had been enthusiastic about the British blues rock musicians like Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. These artists were usually played in the house and from the conversation that I had with Len, I understood the artistic significance of these artists.

She agreed happily of the collaboration and the two came up with an album of Don’t Explain in 2011. The two recorded another album in 2013 and it was “Seesaw” which was also awarded a nomination for Grammy and in the category of Best Blues Album.

As for the equipment, Bonamassa is known for a historical range of the amplifiers and guitars which he possessed. He began to collect before he was 10 years of age. Bonamassa gives credits of his marvelous collection to his parents who used to run a music store and used to reserve the best guitars for him.
His first vintage guitar was a Stratocaster of the model from 1963. In a 2020 interview, Bonamassa claimed that out of all his guitars, he has fondness for a 1951 Fender Telecaster hence known by the fans as ‘The Bludgeon’.
As a result, Fender and Bonamassa worked together in 2021 and planned to introduce a replica of “The Bludgeon” that will be available to the fanatic audience of Bonamassa as well as people from various spheres.
