Romeo Santos Net Worth?
Romeo Santos is a famous singer whose nationality is Dominican-American; his estimated net worth is $40 million. Originally, Romeo Santos got popular as the lead singer of the bachata music band, Aventura.
One of the most successful Latin groups in music history, Aventura have recorded five studio records and singles like ‘Cuándo Volverás’, ‘Obsession’, ‘Un Beso’, ‘Mi Corazoncito’, ‘Por Un Segundo, ‘Dile Al Amor’.
After the initial dispersion of the band in 2011 Santos continues to enjoy a good music career. The King of bachata Romeo Santos took the history as one of the few musical artists that managed to sell out two shows at the Yankee Stadium, 50 000-seater, for a concert.
It is a feat that even bands such as the Metallica, Pink Floyd and one his fellow ‘home grown’ heroes Jay Z failed to do (though technically Jay did perform a concert at Yankees Stadium with Justin Timberlake).
Career
In 2011, the Venezuelan Aventura dissolved, and Santos set out on his quest as a solo singer. He then went on to join Sony Music Latin and came out with his first solo project an album called, “Formula, Vol. 1”.
The songs that came along with this album included “You,” “Mi Santa,” “La Diabla,” and “Promise” which featured Usher. Formula Vol. 1 proved popular climbing even to the Top Latin Albums chart and received a Grammy Award nomination for the Best Tropical Latin Album.
Three concerts at the Madison Square Garden were sold out in February 2012, which was during Santos’ The King Stays King tour; recordings of the concerts for the tour were issued in a live album and DVD form. The album came with two songs namely “Sus Huellas” and “Sin Fin” which featured Justin Timberlake.
He went back on the road in 2013. Santos released the second solo studio album, “Formula, Vol. 2,” in early 2014, which received massive success with popular songs “Propuesta Indecente” and “Odio” that includes the collaboration of Drake.
The album was appreciated and became the best-selling Latin album of the year. Santos however, carried on with tours and concerts selling out shows over the following years.
