- J. Lavin began participating in competitions in such a field as the X Games or the Dew Tour. And in the X Games he won bronze three times, silver one time, and gold three (one Australian). Lavin has achieved the title of becoming the DK Dirt Circuit Champion, Gravity Games Champion, European Champion, as well as a CFB Champion. Later in 1995 he was given the title of “King of Dirt.”
More specifically, in October 2010, Lavin bust his leg during the Dew Tour event in Vegas and had to be immediately taken to the hospital. He was left in a critical condition and was placed on a ventilator and put into a coma and then he got Pneumonia shortly after.
