Tom Green is a Multi-talented man from Canada; actor, rapper, comedian, writer, talk show host, podcaster, and a Media personality worth $5 million. Tom Green has been famous in the 1990s with the show “The Tom Green Show” that started from the Canadian local TV and later air on MTV.

Its contents included slapstick jokes, weird stunts, and other unadulterated signs of Green’s attitude towards life. Green switched to Hollywood, and appeared in such movies as ‘Road Trip,’ ‘Freddy Got Fingered,’ in which Green also wrote the script and directed the movie.

Early Life

Born in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada, Tom Green was originally named Michael Thomas Green and he was born on the 30th of July, 1971. His mother Mary Jane was a communications consultant while his father Richard Green was a computer systems analyst and a retired army captain.

Green was raised on a Canadian Army base near Pembroke, CFB Petawawa and also in Ottawa because his father was in the army. He spent his high school days at Colonel by Secondary School and Cairine Wilson Secondary School, and further pursued education at Algonquin College, Ottawa, in television broadcasting program of which he graduated in year 1994.

Career

Green began doing stand-up comedy acts in comedy clubs, when he was only fifteen years of age. Of these venues, Yuk Yuk’s comedy club is one of the most memorable ones that could be easily accessed by clients.

He kept doing so and booking shows for the next two & a half years; one day he agreed to cancel a show in order to go on a tour to New York with his rap group. This rap group was called Organized Rhyme and he rapped under the pseudonym of “MC Bones”.

Actually, this rap group had minor, short fame in early 1990s where their single “Check the O. R.” was nominated for Juno Award in 1993 and they even won Much Vibe Best Rap Video Award in 1992. Besides, while studying in Algonquin College, Green was hosting an overnight call-in show for the University of Ottawa campus station, OHUO.

Glenn Humplik became his friend and the two of them started presenting the ‘The Midnight Caller Show’ program that was the hit among the people in Ottawa.
